Another Remy Martin today. Prime Cellar N°16 is supposed to be an older version of the VSOP. Let’s go!
Colour: Orange, gold lights. Medium regular tears.
Nose: Hints of citrus scents. Sugary/cardboard-y tones. A tad of toffee/chocolate notes in the background.
Palate: Undistinct fruity shades. A tad of bitterness in the aftertaste. Cardboard-y again. Caramel sweets aromas. Disturbingly imprecise.
Last Notes: Olive oil, bay leaf. Discrete honeyed scents. Very watery in terms of texture, with heavy glycerine impressions. Lingering bitterness on green lemon.
Imprecise. Not very pleasant. Not that far to be a lemon.
