The Rancio Bomb

The Rancio Bomb cocktail 2

The RECIPE

  • 2cl of Jean-Luc Pasquet Kongesønnen XO
  • 5cl of Grosperrin MMC3
  • 2cl of fresh green lemon juice
  • 1 lemon peel (garnish)
  • 1 egg
  • Press a 1/2 lemon to obtain 2cl of lemon juice
  • Clarify the egg to keep only the white
  • Put the lemon juice, the egg white, the Grosperrin MMC3 and the JLP Kongesønnen into the shaker
  • Give it a first shake without the ice to get a perfect emulsion
  • Add some ice cubes and give it a second shake
  • Put some ice into a proper cocktail glass
  • Double strain it while pouring it into your glass
  • Let 1 lemon peel on the surface of the cocktail and a dash of black pepper
  • And here it is : The Rancio Bomb ! A great cocktail to exhaust the mushroomy notes of the Grosperrin MMC3 and the fruitiness of the JLP Kongesønnen
