DELORS 1990 48,7%

Tannins and tannins

First Delord on Hors d’Age. This one is a vintage bottled at 48,7%. Lets go!

Colour: Dark amber, orange lights. Medium regular tears.

Nose: Heavy astringent notes at first. High alcohol. Hints of raisins in the background. Hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Shy cooked fruit scents. Imprecise nose.

Palate: Light texture. Dry woody notes. A few dark chocolate aromas in the background. Heavy tannins.

Last Notes: Undistinct spiced notes with air. Liquid tannins. I was planning to taste other stuff after that…

Drinkable but below okay-ish. Utterly woody. Why bringing that much wood if it’s not to light a fire?

My very subjective note: 77+/100
